Managers and supervisors at Cullum Constructors, Inc.
realize the highest level of service and satisfaction begins with safety and
quality. The well being of each employee begins with orientation and training.
To achieve and maintain a zero (0) accident rate, each person is introduced to their new
working environment, fellow employees and their mentor, as well as their job tasks and
safety procedures. Daily "Huddles" are conducted on issues such as proper
tools, equipment, schedule completion, housekeeping, and changing work site conditions.Cullum employees believe in and support a drug free work
place. The company maintains a written substance abuse policy with all employees
participating in the drug testing program to establish a safe and productive work
environment.
OPERATIONS
Cullum construction operations have completed over
$30 million of work annually with its workforce in excess of 300 personnel. The
majority of this work is self performed and is derived from the industrial, commercial,
and institutional markets in the Southeast. In-house support services enable project
teams to more effectively serve its clients. Sheet metal and pipe pre-fabrication
are accomplished in controlled environment shops, ensuring quality and control over
delivery. Shop drawings for fabrication, coordination, and installation are
generated on the latest version of AutoCAD by in-house staff allowing revisions and printing to be performed
expeditiously. Estimates are developed using the digitizer systems of Quickpen. This provides detailed summaries that can be quickly
changed to
incorporate different materials, equipment, or labor units for accurate analysis of
alternate methods of construction in trying to reduce total project cost. Registered
professional engineers are on staff for consultation by any project team and for designing
building systems and process lines. Detailed scheduling is accomplished using
Primaveras P3 software with
emphasis on the ability to merge with other trade schedules. |
